Subscription, Trial, and Cancellation Policy
Last updated: July 16, 2026
This page explains Podtega's plans, trial terms, billing, and how to cancel. It works together with our Terms of Service and does not change the prices or machine limits shown on our Pricing page. That page is always the current source for pricing.
Plans and machine limits
Current plan prices, machine limits, and additional-machine rates always live on our Pricing page, which controls if anything on this page ever conflicts with it. Operations is hard-capped at its included machine limit; Business allows additional machines at the per-machine rate shown there.
The Intelligence add-on is a separate $20/month subscription on top of an active Business plan, billed and canceled independently of your plan subscription. It is not itself a plan and has no machine limit — it inherits whatever plan you're on. It includes a monthly token allotment that does not carry over month to month, and optional additional token purchases that never expire. See our Pricing page for current details.
The seven-day trial
Operations and Business include a 7-day free trial. A valid payment card is required to start a trial. The Intelligence add-on has no trial — subscribing to it bills your card immediately.
When your first payment occurs
For trial-eligible plans, your first charge occurs when the trial ends, unless you cancel before then. For the Intelligence add-on, which has no trial, your first charge occurs when you subscribe to it.
Automatic conversion from trial to paid
Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your selected plan begins automatically at the end of the 7-day trial and your card is charged the plan's displayed monthly price.
Monthly renewal
All plans renew monthly at the then-current displayed price, until canceled.
How to cancel
Cancellation is handled in-app only, from the Billing page inside your Podtega account ("Manage payment method & invoices"), which opens our payment processor's secure billing portal. Podtega does not currently accept cancellation requests by email or phone.
When cancellation becomes effective
Canceling stops future billing. Unless configured otherwise in our payment processor, cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period, and you retain access to the Service through that date.
Access after cancellation
You retain access to the Service through the end of the billing period in which you canceled. After that, your account access ends, though your data is retained as described in our Privacy Policy unless you separately request deletion.
Refund policy
Subscription charges are non-refundable. This applies to monthly charges, additional-machine charges, plan upgrades, and the Intelligence add-on's monthly subscription charge. One-time Intelligence token purchases are also non-refundable, including any unused tokens.
Failed-payment handling
If a subscription payment fails, we will attempt to collect payment again. Your plan may be marked past due during this process; continued failure to collect payment may result in suspension of your account.
Upgrade and downgrade treatment
You can upgrade your plan at any time from the Billing page; the new plan takes effect immediately, and the prorated cost difference for the remainder of your current billing period is charged to your card on file right away. Downgrades and plan changes outside of a self-service upgrade are currently handled by Podtega support at hello@podtega.com.
Data copy and deletion after cancellation
After cancellation, you may request a full copy of your data or deletion of your account through our Account Data Request page. See our Privacy Policy for our data retention practices.
